Understanding Your Qvantum Warranty and Insurance
What's covered, for how long, and how to find your documents
What warranty and insurance does Qvantum offer?
All Qvantum heat pumps come with a manufacturer's warranty and optional extended insurance. Here's what you need to know.
Standard warranty
- Duration: 3 years from the date of commissioning
- What's covered: Manufacturing defects, component failures under normal use
- What's not covered: Physical damage, improper installation, unauthorized modifications
Extended insurance (Trygghetsförsäkring)
- Duration: Up to 8 years from commissioning (5 additional years beyond the standard warranty)
- What's covered: Parts and labour costs for repairs beyond the standard warranty period
Where to find your warranty documents
Your warranty certificate is linked to your unit's serial number. You can:
- Check the Qvantum app under My Unit → Documents
- Contact support with your serial number to receive a copy by email
Replaced units
If your original unit was replaced under warranty (e.g. a brand replacement), the warranty period restarts from the commissioning date of the replacement unit. The replacement unit's serial number is the reference for all future warranty claims.
Submitting a warranty claim
To submit a defect claim under warranty, see the article: How to Submit a Warranty Defect Report.
