Moving house? Here's how to transfer your Qvantum heat pump to the new owners

When selling your home, the new residents will need access to the Qvantum app and the ability to claim the remaining warranty and insurance. This requires a few steps.

What needs to be transferred

  • App access — the new owner needs to register their own account linked to your unit's serial number.
  • Warranty & insurance — these are tied to the installation address and serial number, not the owner's personal account.

Step-by-step

  1. Provide the new owner with the serial number of the heat pump (found on the label on the unit).
  2. Ask them to download the Qvantum app and create a new account.
  3. During setup, they enter the serial number to link the unit to their account.
  4. Contact Qvantum support to officially transfer the warranty and insurance to the new owner's details.

Warranty and insurance documents

Your original warranty and insurance documents are linked to the serial number of the unit. The new owner can request a copy by contacting us with the serial number and proof of the property transfer.
