Arctic-Proof City Heating
Designed in Sweden and engineered for all climates, Qvantum delivers efficient heating, cooling and hot water for modern residential developments across the UK.
When performance matters, specify a system built to go beyond the demands of the UK climate while supporting low-carbon residential design.
WHY QVANTUM?
Qvantum specialises in solving the energy challenges of cities. By merging our expertise from the energy sector and heat pump manufacturing, we deliver award-winning products that heat, cool and ventilate urban homes, where noise and space can restrict choices.
With fully connected heat pumps that integrate with fifth generation heat networks, and standalone exhaust air options, we offer innovative solutions that can lower demand and share energy across cities.
QG for shared HEAT NETWORKS
The QG Series water-to-water heat pump is designed for ambient loops and geothermal sources, providing heating, cooling and hot water for apartments.
With low-temperature water circulating through the network, the QG helps reduce distribution losses and supports a future-ready residential energy strategy.

QE Exhaust Air Solution for ApartmenTS
The QE is designed for decentralised residential applications where each apartment needs its own compact system. It combines heating, domestic hot water production and ventilation in one unit, while also supporting cooling through overheat mitigation.

Join a Qvantum expert-led CPD session focused on ambient loop design, specification decisions and the practical considerations shaping modern residential developments in the UK.
FAQs
Yes. The QE and QG are both suitable for residential developments, with each product designed for a different application. The QG is designed for shared low-temperature water loops, geothermal sources and ambient loops, while the QE is a decentralised system providing heating, cooling, hot water and ventilation for individual apartments.
A traditional heat network distributes hot water from central plant around the building. The QG works with an ambient loop that circulates low-temperature water, with heat pumps in each apartment or home upgrading that energy to provide heating, cooling and hot water where it is needed.
Yes. All Qvantum heat pumps can deliver heating and domestic hot water, and selected systems can also provide cooling. The QG can deliver passive, as well as active, cooling when connected to a borehole array, helping you design for year-round comfort across residential developments.
Ambient loop systems operate at lower temperatures than conventional heat networks, helping to reduce thermal losses across the network. They also offer greater flexibility for future energy sources and can support the long-term decarbonisation goals of residential developments.
Yes. Qvantum works with consultants, developers and project teams from early-stage feasibility through to detailed design. Support includes system selection, heat network design guidance, specification development and technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
Yes. Qvantum provides CPD presentations for MEP consultants, building services engineers and sustainability professionals. Topics include 5th generation heat networks, ambient loop design, residential decarbonisation and specification considerations for low-carbon housing.
Our team can support projects at any stage, from initial concepts and feasibility studies through to detailed design and delivery. Whether you’re assessing heat network options or developing a residential specification, our specialists can help identify the most suitable solution.
If you are reviewing options for an upcoming UK scheme or want support with heat pump specification, Qvantum can help you move from early questions to a practical next step.
